There's a reason old computers end up sitting in closets for years. Before you wipe the drive or get rid of the machine, there's always that nagging question: Did I get everything?

Not just your Documents and Pictures. What about the PDF buried in Downloads? The browser bookmarks you forgot about? An old project, an email archive, or the family photos hiding somewhere you haven't looked in years?

LastLook was built to answer that question.

It examines your Windows computer or an accessible drive, looking for potentially important files and information you might otherwise overlook. Documents, photos, browser data, application files, development projects, and other pieces of your digital life are brought together for review.

The process is straightforward: Scan, Report, Inspect, Archive.

Scan the source, review the findings, inspect individual files, and mark what you want to keep. LastLook supports previews for selected file types and lets you mark multiple findings for archiving. When you're ready, it copies your selections to a destination you choose and verifies the results.

Your original files remain untouched. LastLook doesn't delete, clean, repair, or reorganize the source. Discovery happens locally, without uploading your personal information to a cloud service.

And because LastLook is portable, you can run it without a traditional installation.

LastLook won't promise that every forgotten file has been found or tell you a drive is safe to erase. What it gives you is something more useful than a blind guess: a clearer picture of what you're leaving behind.

Before it's gone, know what's there.
